Held at UP faculty center in the Claro M. Recto hall.

It was like a very formal meeting of artists. Round table. Like a court.

Like the Republic of the Philippines Court of the Arts.

The talk was organized by Tutok.

Boyet - Cos, Mideo, discussion, history, activism, Alwin

Wire - Angono, mischief, lateness, botong, tattoo,

I admire how UP students form their questions.

The questions that were asked were:

On the ownership of the works. If you are working/collaborating with a “public” then who really owns the work. Is it not “making use of other people’s work” if you use the work that people did or that you collaborated to do with the people if you would be exhibiting them at a gallery context.

Another question was about how their practice affected them as persons/artists. This was answered very humanely by the artists relating it to their experiences, ideas, hardships, and successes.
