Reality as we all might have learned by now. Is not really the way we want it to be. It does not work the we want and expect it to be. And sometimes even more wild than our most wild imaginations.
That's why Machivellian Philosophy is so truelalu. And such Machivellian and ugly truth is the next quote:
"Selling a cure is a lot easier than selling a preventative, unless the preventative is perceived as a cure or curative aspects of the preventative are emphasized."
- Joe Sugarman
Selling paracetamol is easier than selling supplements to prevent headaches and do practices/exercises that prevent headaches.
Such are selling programs to keep people fit is harder than selling programs that will make fat people lose weight.
There's a caveat though and that is to, "unless the preventative is perceived as a cure or curative aspects of the preventative are emphasized."
Like on the more aged market, Alzheimer preventives are marketed as cures of the inevitable memory lost.
And nowadays diet drinks as cures to inevitable weight gain of women in their mid-twenties.
How about you what other markets have you observed that are marketing preventives as cures?
What other angles have they used other than inevitables and stastics?
Don't be greedy share your ideas.
